New regulation of execution: Enemy execution law 2020-03-29 18:27:59   ANKARA- With the Presidential Decree published in the Official Nespaper the new regulation of execution comes into force today in Turkey. Examining the regulation, ÖHD lawyer Nuray Özdoğan said, “The government states that with this arrangement, it will continue to enforce and implement enemy execution law".   In the Official Newspaper published today, the Presidency decision No. 2324, regarding the 2006 regulation on the Management of Criminal Execution Institutions and the Execution of Criminal and Security Measures and the Regulation on the Execution of Criminal Execution Institutions and the Execution of Criminal and Security Measures entered into force.   'UNLAWFULLNESS ACTS FASTER THAN THE VIRUS'   Association of Lawyers for Freedom member lawyer Nuray Özdoğan commented  on the new regulation and said, "In these days, where equal, indifferent, conditional release expectation and demand are at the highest level, the will of the Parliement is neglected and the regulation and partial regulation processes have been preferred. This also shows the ability of ongoing unlawfulness to act faster than the virus."   'ENEMY EXECUTION LAW WILL CONTINUE'   Reminding that universal rules of human rights require all the detainees and convicts to be treated by an equal, indiscriminative execution law, Özdoğan said, “While under the severe pandemic conditions the public conscience expects conditional release of especially children, women, elderly and sick prisoners,especially in cases of severe epidemic, the government acts with political motivations by this regulation.The Turkish government shows that it will neglect the political detaines or convicted by this regulation and continue to apply enemy execution laws with such regulations".
