Number of coronavirus deaths increases to 44 in Turkey 2020-03-25 10:47:52   NEWS CENTER - 7 more people have died of the coronavirus in Turkey today, while 343 more people tested positive.   Turkish Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca announced the latest figures regarding the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.   Koca stated that 7 more people have died of the coronavirus today, one of whom was COPD patient and six others were elderly. The latest losses thus brought the death toll to 44.   According to the minister 3,952 tests were conducted during the past 24 hours. Of these, 343 tested positive, with which the total number of confirmed cases rose to 1,872.   “Although we are experiencing losses, it is not late for Turkey. Measures can avoid an increase. We are as strong as the measures we take,” he said.
