'Don't let my son die for no guilt' 2020-02-20 10:59:28 ADANA- A death penalty was given on behalf of Mazlum Dağ and Muhammed Beşiksiz, who have been on trial on ground of killing Osman Köse, an officer in Turkey's Consulate General in charge of the Hewlêr and other three people. Reacting to the decision, Muhammed Beşiksiz's father Şahin Er said, "We want the death sentence to be removed. My son should not be let die for no guilt." Mazlum Dağ and Muhammed Beşiksiz have been senteced to death penalty, who have been on trial on ground of killing three people and Osman Köse, an officer working on Hewlêr Consulate of Turkey in Federer Iraqi Kurdistan's capital on July 17, 2019.   Reacting to the death penalty given, Beşiksiz's father Şahin Er stated that his son was not guilty and asked for the death penalty to be removed.   'I HAVE BEEN TORTURED FOR 4 MONTHS'   Father Er stated that he went to Hewler on February 8 and that he met with his son in Hewlêr Prison on February 13. Father narrated the speech of his son during their prison visit as follows: "We had a second hearing on February 10. They are sending me and Mazlum Dağ to death. I have nothing to do with the incident. I don't even seem to be armed in the images. I am given a death penalty for no guilt. I was subjected to all kinds of torture in custody for 4 months. Those were the police of Hewlêr, who tortured me. I was asked to take the blame in torture. I did not accept. I did not accept in court as well."   'DON'T LET MY SON DIE FOR NO GUILT'   Having said that his son has been in Iraq for 15 years and a citizen there, Father Er expressed that his son was not guilty. Father Er made the following statements: "My son has repeatedly told me that he is innocent and is currently being subjected to unjust execution. His file is currently in the Iraqi Court of Appeal.
