Custody warrant again for Osman Kavala 2020-02-19 10:03:14 ISTANBUL- İstanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a custody warrant for the businessman Osman Kavala within the scope of the July 15 coup attempt investigation.   Based on the statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a custody warrant has been issued against Kavala on the charge of “Attempt to break the constitutional order” according to the 309th article of the Turkish Penal Code.   Speaking to Evrensel Newspaper, Osman Kavala's lawyer İlkan Koyuncu said that he went to the courthouse from Silivri Prison. Koyuncu said, “We are also trying to find out. This decision is inexpicable, there is nothing to explain, it is clear."    Osman Kavala, who has been imprisoned for 840 days in the Gezi Resistance Trial had been expected to be released from Silivri Prison after acquittal and release order based on the decision of Gezi Resistance Trial.
