Co-chair from HDP received death threat via social media

	URFA- HDP Urfa Provincial Co-Chair Emine Çetiner received death threat via social media. Çetiner will file a criminal complaint regarding the issue.

	 

	People's Democratic Party (HDP) Urfa Co-chair Emine Çetiner was threatened via social media. Çetiner received a message on Saturday night at 23.00 from the social media account named "jitem.turkey". The message is as follows: "Şev Baş hewall death will find you. jitem"  Stating that these threats are an attack on women's identity and struggle, Çetiner said, “We are here, we are in the fields and we are not afraid. And we will continue to be out there in the fields all the time. These threats will not intimidate us."

	 

	Çetiner will go to the prosecutor's office with her lawyer and file a criminal complaint regarding the issue.
