The aid vehicles of Ergani Municipality have been prevented to enter Elazığ second time

	DİYARBAKIR – The vehicles full of aid which are sent for the earthquake victims in Elazığ have been prevented to enter the city of Elazığ second time today with the claim that it may “cause bother”.

	Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP)-ruled Ergani Municipality has collected 2 trucks of aid for the earthquake victims in Elazığ. However, these aid trucks have been stopped by the order of Elazığ Governorship the other day with by the police forces. In response, Ergani Municipality has contacted Ergani Police Headquarters and have send the food aid consisting of 1 truck and two pick-ups to their way to Elazığ once again. The aid vehicles, which were escorted by the Ergani police officers was stopped in the police, check point in the district of Maden.

	Police have said that the entrance of trucks to the city my cause bother, and so they required the 1-truck 2-pick-up carrying food-aid should deliver the aid to Ergani Red Crescent.

	After the police obstacle, the aid vehicles of the municipality have returned to Ergani district and the all the aid have been delivered to Red Crescent in Ergani.
