Kurdish Literature Association established 2020-01-21 09:23:56 DİYARBAKIR –  Kurdish Literature Association was established in Diyarbakır to provide solidarity among authors and contribute to the development of language and literature. A group of Kurdish writers in Diyarbakır have founded the Kurdish Literature Association to support solidarity among each other and to develop literture and language. The application of the association to the Diyarbakır Governorship was accepted. The association, which aims to organize solidarity among Kurdish writers, is co-chaired by Sultan Yaray and Hogir Berbir.   "SOLIDARITY IS IMPORTANT FOR KURDISH LITERATURE"   Sultan YAray, the Co-chair of the association, emphasizing that after the closure of Kurdish Authors Association with a law decree, they felt the need to establish a news association. Yaray stating that they are planning to work with Kurmancî, Kirmançkî and Soranî dialects of Kurdish, said they will organize workshops, panels, seminars and conferences in this context. Stating that besides the promotion of Kurdish works, Kurdish writers will work on solving their problems, Yaray said that the solidarity among the writers is also important for Kurdish literature.
