Law suit against Yeni Yaşam Newspaper's report on Peace Spring operation

	İSTANBUL –  A law suit was filed against Yeni Yaşam Newspaper Editor in Chief Aydın Keser for the report about the Peace Spring Operation, called: "Peace will not flow through this spring".

	The indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Editor-in-Chief of Yeni Yaşam Newspaper Aydın Keser was accepted by the 22nd High Criminal Court of Istanbul. The indictment accused the report "Peace cannot flow through this spring" regarding the operation launched by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) against North and East Syria.

	 

	The indictment also said: " “It was stated that the operation was arbitrary, the civilians were being harmed, there was no legitimacy, the war operation was initiated by fabricated reasons, peace was in jeopardy, women were being raped, children, elderly and the civillians were being killed."

	 

	The prosecutor's office claimed that the newspaper was 'propagandizing an illegal organization' with the report in question. With the acceptance of the indictment, the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper, Aydın Keser, will appear before the judge at the 22nd High Criminal Court in Istanbul on 7 February.
