Two of the villagers arrested, wife of murdered Kaya still detained 2019-12-12 12:38:45 AĞRI - Cemal Aksoy and Fikret Çetin, two of the villagers who were detained on the night Murat Kaya was murdered by the soldiers on December 6, are arrested. Zozan Kaya, wife of murdered Murat Kaya is still under custody. An operation was launched by the police and the gendermerie against Soğukpınar village in Ağrı on December 6.  Ministry of Interrior made a statement that day and announced that 4 PKK members, including Murat Kaya, father of 3 were killed.    Gendermerie detained some villages that day including Murat Kaya's wife, Zozan Kaya. It was reported that Cemal and Ahmet Aksoy was injured as a result of the torture they were subjected to.   Hanım Aksoy, Alican Aksoy, Kemal Aksoy, Ahmet Aksoy, Cemal Aksoy, Fikret Çetin and Mehmet Sıddık Çetin was referred to the prosecutor's office following their statements at the Provincial Gendermerie Command. While Hanım Aksoy, Cemal Aksoy, Ahmet Aksoy and Fikret Çetin was referred to court with the accusation of 'aiding and abetting an illegal organization', the other villagers under custody was released. Ahmet and Hanım Aksoy was released from court while Cemal Aksoy and Fikret Çetin were arrested.   ZOZAN KAYA STILL UNDER CUSTODY   Murat Kaya's wife Zozan Kaya and Birgül Çetin, who are still in custody, are expected to be referred to court today.
