
Trustee appointed to İpekyolu Municipality

	VAN - District Governor Sinan Aslan was appointed as a trustee to replace elected İpekyolu Municipality Co- Mayor Azim Yacan.

	People's Democratic Party (HDP) İpekyolu Co-Mayor Azim Yacan was dismissed by the Ministry of Interrior.

	&nbsp;

	It was learned that the detention period of Azim Yacan and Şehsade Kurt who was taken into custody yesterday, was extended. HDP people have been waiting a watch inside the party building since yesterday. It was learned that they were informed about the trustee around 01.30 last night.

	&nbsp;

	With İpekyolu Municipality, the number of municipalities a trustee was appointed is now 16, 4 of which are metropolitan municipalities.
