Mortar Shell Attack Against Kızıltepe

	NEWS CENTER - Two civilians have lost their lives and 12 people have been wounded in an attack launched with mortar shells and rockets against the district of Kızıltepe in Mardin.

	 

	The Governorship of Mardin has announced that mortar shells and rockets hit the rural villages of Taşlıca and Otluk in the district of Kızıltepe. While two civilians have lost their lives in the incident, 12 others have been wounded.

	 

	Entries to the Taşlıca (Xerabkort) Neighborhood hit by rockets and mortar shells has been banned after the attack. Reporters attempting to enter the neighborhood were also prevented. Speaking to the MA, residents of the neighborhood said that a mortar shell hit the neighborhood though there occurred no conflicts.
