HDP moves Democracy Watches to İstanbul and İzmir 2019-09-23 11:39:11 ANKARA -  HDP CEB decided to move the Democracy Watch demos to İstanbul and İzmir after Diyarbakır, Van and Mardin. The 7th anniversary of the party kicking off with the slogan 'Let's close ranks in HDP' will be celebrated in Ankara. The caucus that was chaired by People's Democratic Party (HDP) Co-chair Sezai Temelli, the Central Executive Board (CEB) meeting was held yesterday.   The main agenda of the CEB was the trustees, the Democracy Alliance, the Judicial Reform Package, the arrest decisions of Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş.    'LET'S CLOSE RANKS IN HDP'   A campaing decision was taken at the CEB against the criminalization of HDP. The slogan 'Let's close ranks in HDP' will be the main slogan of the organization and membership work to be done.   HDP will celebrate its 7th birthday in october 15. While it was emphasized that the 7th year should be celebrated enthusiastically in the CEB meeting,  it was emphasized that the celebrations should be held with the theme of drawing politics back to democracy. The 7th year celebrations will be held in Ankara and all democratic parties will be invited.   'DEMOCRACY WATCHES'   A decision to move the Democracy Watches to İzmir and İstanbul was taken in the CEB meeting. The demonstrations are expected to start this week.
