
19 more Peace Academics acquitted

	ISTANBUL - 19 academics who were tried in the 26th and 28th Assize Court of Istanbul were acquitted for signing the “We will not be involved in this crime” declaration.

	&nbsp;

	It was learned that 18 Peace Academics who were tried in Istanbul 28th Heavy Penal Court were acquitted for signing the 'We will not be a partner in this crime' declaration. Acquittal of the 19 academics were decided as a result of the investigation on the file leaded to Constitutional Court's decision of freedom of Speech. Kesk Co-chair Aysun Gezen is amongst the academics who were acquitted.
