Lawyers for Freedom Association (ÖHD) Co-chair Bünyamin Şeker who spoke on the subject, said the trustees appointed to the municipalities are extralegal.   Şeker stating that the fact that trustees are being appointed to the municipalities does not serve democracy or law, said this is not acceptable. Şeker underlining that they do not accept the fact that an elected mayor is being dismissed, said: "The town hall is arrested. The streets that belong to the people are closed to their enterance. This clearly shows that their practice is illegal. An occupation policy is currently being carried out on the streets. Every street, every corner. The freedom of the people to travel and to move is also prevented."
