6 investigations for HDP District Co-chair in 10 days 2019-08-09 13:55:13 ŞIRNAK - The 6 of the 9 investigations started against People's Democratic Party (HDP) Cizre Co-chair Güler Tunç, was opened in the last 10 days. Tunç who was being investigated for visiting the graves of her late husband and father in law, said: "We have never surrendered to oppression. We will never step back."   Many investigations are being opened against Güler Tunç who lost her husband Orhan Tunç and her father in law Mehmet Tunç during the curfews in Cizre between 2015 and 2016.9 investigations were started for District Co-chair Tunç in the last 4 months.Some of these investigations soon turned into law suits.   Speaking on the subject, Tunç evaluated the investigations as 'psychological pressure'. Tunç who learned that a new investigation was opened the last time she went in the police station for a deposition, confirmed that the 6 of the investigations were opened in the last 10 days.   Tunç said: "They always ask about how my husband died when I go in for a statement. This is psychological pressure. They want to supress our struggle. But we never gave in and we will not take one step back from now on. Their pressures can only strengthen us."
