Mothers addressed the government: Hear our screams! 2019-05-20 17:29:03 ADANA - Families of the hunger stiriking prisoners who are continuing their protests in Adana addressed the government and said: "Enough is enough. Hear our scream, don't let our children die!"   The protest families started in Adana, İsmet İnönü Park to draw attention to the hunger strikes and the death fasts continued on its 11th day. Police surrounded the mothers again.   Police blockaded the mothers, separating them from the other citizens in the park and did not allow anyone coming closer to the mothers. Despite the police blockade, HDP PM Tülay Hatimoğulları and HDP, HDK and TUAY-DER executives supported the mothers from behind the police blockade.    Police took one citizen under custody claiming they had a warrant for them.   Vesile Ulaş, a mother who spoke about their protest, wanted the isolation to be terminated immediately before funerals come out of the prisons. Türkan Şimşek critisized the silence of the government and made a call to end the tyranny. Ayfer Yavaş who stated that the prisoners are in critical condition, said: "Enough is enough. Hear our scream, don't let our children die!"
