Father whose 3 sons on hunger strike: Stop stalling! 2019-05-20 11:35:35 MARDİN - Abdülkadir Çalhan whose 3 sons are on hunger strike against the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, addressed the government and said: "Stop stalling, enough is enough, end the isolation!" Sinan (28), Bünyamin (25) and Mahsun Çalhan (22) are amongst the prisoners who are on hunger strike demanding the end of the continued isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.Sinan who is sentenced to 21 years in Kandıra No 1 Type F Prison is on te 115th day of the hunger strike. Mahsun who got arrested in 2014 and was sentenced to 18 years in Kayseri Bünyan CLosed Prison is on the 108th day of the hunger strike. Bünyamin who was arrested in 2015 and was sentenced to 12 years in Mardin Type E Closed Prison is on the 81st day of the hunger strike.     Çalhan gamily who lives in Mardin and unable to regularly visit all their children because they are all in different prisons and because the family has financial diffculties, made a call to the authorities to meet the demands of their children.Father Çalhan who visited his son Sinan 45 days ago, and wasn't able to visit his son Mahsuun for over 2 months, said he sometimes have to go to visit and because he doesn't know about the visitation penalties, he has to come back before seeing them.   Father Çalhan who stated that his sons are determined to go on with the hunger strike, emphasized that their demands are his demands. Father Çalhan said: "It's been more than 6 months. Enough is enough. Meet the demands. Take action for peace. End this process in a healthy manner. We can not sit home wait for our children to die. No one should expect this from us. We want the isolation to be removed immediately. How long will they continue?"     Father Çalhan who mentioned the statement the Minister of Justice Abdulkadir Gül made a while ago,said: "They say they ended the isolation. How come? Still no one have seen him. All they have been doing is for the election in İstanbul. That's how they plan to win the election. They have to understand that it will not work. What are they waiting for? Stop stalling, we want the peace to be established."
