Selma Irmak's Mother: Let us make them hear the voices of our hunger strike children 2019-02-12 11:43:09   MARDİN- Mother Emine Irmak who supports her daughter who started the hunger strike on January 15 with the demand of terminating the isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, said: "It is not an easy thing to be on hunger strike, but their demand is not something impossible'     The hunger strike Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven is in its 97th day, the hunger strike of Federal Kurdistan Disctrict, Hewlêr HDP Representative member Nasır Yağız is in its 84th day. Approximately 300 political prisoners in different prisons are on hunger strike for 59 days. The hunger strike in Galler is on its 58th day.     Mother Irmak mentioning the phone call with her daughter, said: "She said the health conditions of the prisoners are not well. She said that the hunger strike of Leyla is still continuing therefore their hunger strike will also continue until the isolation is terminated.Mother Irmak who wants the government not to turn a blind eye on the hunger strikers,pointing out the need to taking human rights as a base, said the people should not be led to anymore pain.     Mother Irmak who underlined that her daughter said 'Our children will always be in danger unless the isolation is terminated', said: "It is not an easy thing to do to be on hunger strike. It is not easy for us families, it is not easy for the hunger strikers.But ending the isolation, meetind the demands is not hard as well.Our demand is the government to meet their demands."
