The village mosque assigned to the TSK was converted into a military base 2019-02-11 16:43:16   DIHOK-  A mosque was assigned to Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) to be used as a military base after the local residents set afire the Sirê Military Base which belong to TSK, because the civillian deaths occured in the air strikes against the region. The perimeter of the mosque was protected by KDP peshmergas.   Up on the civillian deaths occuring in the air strike of Turkey to Federal Kurdistan District on January 26,2019, Sirê Military Base in Şeladizê, Duhok was set afire by the local residents. 2 people lost their lives while 14 got injured in the protests.   80 people including journalist was taken under custody by KDP security forces in scope of the investigation after the incident. 62 of the detainees were released while 18 of them are still under custody.   According to the information obtained,  Kiryadêr  village mosque located in Rêkan district was given to TSK which was converted into a military base by the TSK. The perimeter of the mosque is being protected by KDP peshmergas.   The villagers whose mosque converted into a military base is reactive to the situation.
