Üzman who's on a hunger strike for 57 days: We will win no matter what 2019-02-10 10:55:00 DİYARBAKIR- Hayati Üzman who has been continuing the indefinite non-rotating hunger strike in Diyarbakır Type D Closed Prison for 57 days, stated: "Our leadership is our breath and said their morale is high. Üzman said: "No matter what the price, we believe wi will win with a great victory." The hunger strike initiated by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven who demands the termination of the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is continuing in its 95th day.   Nasır Yağız's hunger strike he started with the same demand in Hewlêr is in its 82nd day, the hunger strikes in Strasburg and Galler is in their 56th day. The hunger strike of the political prisoners in different prisons is in their 57th day.   Hayati Üzman, one of the 5 prisoners who started a hunger strile in Diyarbakır Type D CLosed Prison on December 16th told about the reason of his hunger strike and his health status to Mezopotamya Agency (MA).   Üzman who underlined that in order to secure the termination of the isolation Kurdish people and Kurdish politicians need to backlash a little bit more, said: The parties need to unite around this resistance to secure the national unity. Our people must embrace the hunger strikers. They must make the termination of isolation their only agende at home, at work or out in the daily life.The elected officials and party members can forge public opinion at the international level as well as a national level.This also means to bury fascism in the ballot boxes on March 31.They must be careful about the speculations and provocations.This resistance will not end until fascism is gone and the isolation is terminated."   Üzman who emphasized that  Kurdish people knows the resistance characteristics of the democratic and socialist circles, ended his words by saying: "We believe in the fact that we all will topple fascism and isolation and liberate Kurdistan no matter what the price is and win with a spectacular and absolute victory. We condemn the February 15 conspiracy and salut our people and all the insurgents."
