'Kürdistan' intolareance in budget meetings 2018-12-14 13:42:16   ANKARA- AKP, IYIP and MHP members reacted when HDP parliamentarian Nusrettin Maçin used the word 'Kürdistan' in the speach he made in the budget meetings. The word 'Kürdistan' was written with lower case 'K' in the protocol.   Maçin who mentioned that the villages are emptied and agriculture and husbandry suffered a lot in the conflict period, said: " In Kürdistan district where I am a deputy from, 3 thousand 500 villages were emptied and the rangelands and flatlands of the villagers were prohibited from usage and the producing power of the villagers was blocked." AKP, IYIP and MHP members reacted to the word 'Kürdistan' and demanded Maçin should get a penalty.   HDP Group Deputy Chairman Ayhan Bilgen, reminded that 'Nutuk' was handed out in the parliament and the original manuscript contained the word 'Kürdistan'. Bilgen also reminded that in the first parliament, 'Kürdistan' was written beside the names of the Kurdish politicians. Bilgen said: "These people live in that geography. There is a history and a name to that geography. Mr. Erdoğan have uttered the words 'Kürdistan exists' in his group meeting."   Parliamentary Deputy Speaker Mithat Sancar reminded that the word 'Kürdistan' was not in the penalty content. Sancar stated that the using the word 'Kürdistan' does not require disciplinary penalty and that he did not see the need to commence legal proceedings .
