
Dam gates broke off, residents of Dicle Valley left their homes

	DİYARBAKIR- People residing in the Dicle Valley had to left their homes when a dam gate broke off in Eğil, Diyarbakır.

	&nbsp;

	One of the gates of the dam broke off when it was opened for drainage. Authorities warned the citizens against submersions and floods in settlements in the riverbed.

	&nbsp;

	Citizens living in settlements close to the river in Dicle Valley had to leave their homes and work places in case of a flood.&nbsp;

	Most of the Hewsel Gardens submerged as well.
