Police blockage to Demirtaş hearing 2018-12-12 15:15:04   ANKARA- Foreign delegations and many citizens are not allowed inside the courtroom where former HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş is being tried.   Enterance to the Sincan Prison Campus was blocked by the police where the hearing of former People's Democratic Party Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş is held. Police announced that only 45 people will be let in and blocked the corridor to the court room.   The foreingn delegates that were not let in are : " Miren Gorrotxategui Edurne, AKPM Left group Parliamentarian/ Podemos Thomas Philips, Liverpool University/ Academician Eva-Lena Jansson, Swedish Social Democratic Party Representative/ Yılmaz Kerimo, Swedish Social Democratic Party Representative/ Hakan Taş, German Left Party Berlin Federal Parliamentarian/ Anne-Marie Mineur, Hollanda Socialist Party/ Eurpoe Parliamentarian Sara Murawski/ Anne Marie Mineur's adviser Eva Flyvhome/ Attorneys from Denmark Red-Green Party / Attornies from England Bar    ABOUT THE CASE   Demirtaş is being tried with the accusations of "Starting and managing an illegal organization" "Propaganda of an illegal organization" and "Praising the crime and the criminal". Prosecution demands 142 years of prison time.    33 new lawsuits were filed about Demirtaş in the last year. The trial being held in Ankara 19th Criminal Court consists of 31 summaries of proceeding regarding the abolition of parliamentary immunity .
