SDF launches security operation in Raqqa

	NEWS CENTER – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have launched a security operation in the city of Raqqa, in North and East Syria, targeting DAESH sleeper cells.

	 

	According to a statement released by the SDF Press Office, the operation began early this morning with the support of the International Coalition Forces. The statement said the campaign aims to dismantle DAESH’s remaining cell structures operating in the region.
