
Autonomous Administration declares holiday for May Day

	NEWS CENTER - The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria declared 1 May Worker's Day as a holiday.

	&nbsp;

	The Co-Chairs of the Executive Council of the North and East Syria Region issued Circular No. 11, declaring a day off in all official departments and institutions affiliated with it on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, on the occasion of 1 May Worker's Day, except for departments whose work requires continuity.

	&nbsp;

	The circular stated: "Based on the official holidays law, and in accordance with public interest requirements,

	&nbsp;

	The Co-Chairs of the Executive Council of the North and East Syria Region declares the following:

	&nbsp;

	*All official departments and institutions affiliated with the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the North and East Syria Region shall suspend work on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, on the occasion of 1 May Worker's Day, except for departments whose work requires continued operation.

	&nbsp;

	*This circular shall be delivered to all concerned for implementation."
