Tunceli Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu was appointed as trustee for Dêrsim Municipality and Ovacık District Governor Hüseyin Şamil Sözen was appointed as trustee for Pulur Municipality.   The first action of Dêrsim Municipality trustee Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu was to dismiss deputy mayors Mustafa Taşkale and Ümit Kaya. AKP member Ali Tekataş, who had many allegations of irregularities against him, was appointed as deputy mayor in place of the two dismissed names.   FROM WAN TO TRABZON   Tekataş served as the General Manager of Water and Sewerage Works (VASKİ) of Wan Metropolitan Municipality during the period of Murat Zorluoğlu, who was appointed as trustee to Wan Metropolitan Municipality in 2017. Tekataş was appointed as the General Director of Trabzon Drinking Water and Sewerage Administration (TİSKİ) after his duty as the General Director of VASKİ. Tekataş applied as a candidate from AKP for Xarpêt Municipality during the 31 March Local Elections. However, Tekataş was not nominated as a candidate and his position was transferred from TİSKİ to Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Private Secretariat. He did not start work at the municipality because he was on "report".   'IRREGULARITY' ALLEGATION BY YENI ŞAFAK   Yeni Şafak newspaper, which is known to be close to the government, had reported about Tekataş as "his irregularity file is bloated". Published in 2023, the aforementioned news article stated: "It is claimed that Tekataş, who is a candidate for mayor of Elazığ from AK Party, has been doing unlawful works that are not in accordance with the law in the Elazığ Regional Directorate of İller Bankası A.Ş., where he was previously employed. It is learnt that Tekataş put pressure on his employees who did not turn a blind eye to irregularities and made financial gains from companies close to him in tenders, and his candidacy as a candidate from Elazığ caused controversy."
