Justice Watch: Resistance will definitely succeed 2024-02-19 18:18:28   NEWS CENTER - Those who took part in the Justice Watch protests held in many centres gave the message that the resistance in prisons and outside will definitely be successful.   In the "Justice Watch" actions carried out in many centres by the families and relatives of the prisoners who have been on hunger strike for 85 days, demands for "PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan's physical freedom and a solution to the Kurdish issue" continued to be expressed.   AMED   The Justice Watch, led by the Prisoner Families Solidarity Association (TUAY-DER) in Amed, demanding "PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan's physical freedom and a solution to the Kurdish issue" has entered its 77th day. Many people took part in the watch at the Rêzan (Bağlar) District Organization building of the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party). A banner was hung written, "Let's break the isolation for the construction of a free life, let's be a voice to the dungeons".   Throughout the day slogans such as "Bijî berxwedana zindanan (Long live resistance of the dungeons)" and "Rights, Law, Justice" were frequently chanted.   BATMAN   The Justice Watch, which was initiated in Êlih (Batman) under the leadership of the Prisoner Families Assistance Association (TUAY-DER), continued the 18th day at the DBP Provincial Organization building. Representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations in the city made support visits during the day.   During the visits, attention was drawn to the hunger strikes of prisoners in prisons and a call was made to embrace the struggle. Slogans such as "Jin Jîyan Azadî (Life, Woman, Freedom)", "Bijî berxwedana zîndanan" and "We will win by resisting" were frequently shouted during the visit.   ADANA   The Justice Watch, led by the Akdeniz Adana Association for Assistance with Families of Detainees and Convicts (AATUHAY-DER), continued its 78th day at the association building. Mothers for Peace and DEM Party Provincial Organization executives attended the action today. Activists at the watch stated in their messages that they would continue to fight until Abdullah Ocalan's physical freedom is achieved.   MERSIN   The Justice Watch in Mersin has reached its 78th day. Today, in the action carried out by Çukurova Association for Assistance with Detainees and Convict Families (Çukurova TUAY-DER) at the association building, Mothers for Peace and many citizens, as well as association managers and members, attended. Slogans such as "Jin, Jîyan, Azadî", "Bê Serok jîyan nabe (There is no life without Leader)" and "Bijî berxwedana zindanan" were frequently chanted.   Mother for Peace Meryem Erbey stated that they will continue the action they started for Abdullah Ocalan's freedom. Erbey said: “We, mothers, will continue our struggle. We will continue until we bring justice and democracy to this country. When we bring justice and law to this country, everything will be easier. The key to peace in the Middle East is Mr. Abdullah Ocalan. Turks cannot be free unless Kurds are free. When the Leader is free, both the Kurdish people and the Turkish people will be free."   WAN   The Justice Watch action initiated by the Association for Assistance with the Families of Detainees and Convicts (TUHAY-DER) in Wan continued its 77th day. Many people visited the ongoing action at the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Wan Provincial Organization building.   Fatma Aslan, one of the visitors who spoke at the action, greeted the mothers and said: “Prisoners in prisons are on hunger strike. We want to support them with the action we continue. We want the demands of the prisoners to be met as soon as possible. The resistance in prisons and outside will definitely be successful." The action continued with the songs sung and the slogans such as, "Bijî berxwedana zindanan", "Bê Serok jîyan nabe" and "Bijî Serok Apo (Long live Leader Apo)".
