'Arrest' decision to be awaited in Journalist Ölçen case 2023-06-05 13:56:38 DİYARBAKIR- Closed Azadiya Welat Newspaper Privilege Holder Ramazan Ölçen case was adjourned on the grounds of "waiting for the arrest warrant".   The hearing of the lawsuit filed against Ramazan Ölçen, the Privilege Owner of Azadiya Welat Newspaper, which was closed with the Statutory Decree, on charges of "being a member of a terrorist organization" and "making propaganda for a terrorist organization" due to the news and articles published in the newspaper, was postponed.   Ölçen and his lawyer, for whom an arrest warrant was issued, did not attend the hearing held at the Diyarbakır 11th High Criminal Court. The prosecution demanded that the arrest warrant issued against Ölçen be awaited and other deficiencies in the file be corrected.   The court decided to wait for the result of the arrest warrant issued against Ölçen and to correct other deficiencies in the file. The hearing was adjourned to October 2.
