Our detained reporter Karataş taken to Erzurum

	VAN- Our reporter Dindar Karataş, who was detained in Van, was taken to Erzurum to give his statement to the prosecutor.

	Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reporter Dindar Karataş who was detained with a raid on his home in Van early in the morning yesterday, was taken to Erzurum. Ekin Yeter, attorney of Dindar Karataş who called the Van Security Directorate to get information about his client, learned that he was taken to Erzurum. No other information was obtained, since there is a confidentiality order on the file.

	 

	Our reporter Karataş was taken into custody with a raid on his home withing the scope of an investigation carried out by Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was learned that a 4 day detention warrant was issued against Karataş. The police who raided our Van office, searched the office while Karataş was waiting handcuffed behind the back. The police confiscated 2 laptops, a desk top computer and 3 hard drives and some letters.
