HDP: Government policies causes the deaths of the refugees

	ANKARA - HDP Migrants and Refugees Commission made a statement regarding the increasing murders of refugees and attacks on migrants, and said: "We know the perpetrators of the crimes against refugees. The perpetrator is the increasing anti-refugee state policies." 

	 

	The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Immigration and Refugees Commission made a written statement on the recent increase in the murder of refugees and attacks on migrants. Commission Co-Spokespeople Gülsüm Ağaoğlu and Veli Saçılık said in the statement, "One of the 4 refugees that were chased into the mine field by the gendermerie were buried in the cemetery of the nameless. 14 year old Vail El Mansur working in a tailorshop was stabbed to death while he was running away from a group verbally harassing him yesterday."

	 

	The statement drew attention to the increase in attacks against refugees and immigrants, saying, "Almost everyday we recieve news about an 

	immigrant of refugee being murdered or attacked. Everyday a refugee's rights are violated, or a refugee is attacked, injured or killed."

	 

	'STATE POLICY'

	 

	The statement continued: "Refugees should equally enjoy all the rights of the countries they live in. We know the perpetrators of the crimes against refugees. The perpetrator is the increasing anti-refugee state policies. We are asking once again: How many more refugees have to die before abandoning the anti-refugee state policies?  As HDP Immigration and Refugee Commission, we state that we want to live together and that asylum is a fundamental human right, we remind that we will follow the murders committed."
