Eye witness: They were perfectly fine when they got on the helicopter 2020-09-23 13:54:31   VAN - Refuting the statement of the Van Governorate saying Osman Şiban and Servet Turgut fell of a rock while fleeing from the gendermerie, eye witness Cengiz Şiban told he saw both men getting on the helicopter and they were perfectly fine.   Servet Turgut (55), father of 7 children, who turned out to be under treatment in the intensive care unit of the Van Regional Training and Research Hospital two days after being detained by the soldiers who went on operation in Çatak district of Van and documented that they were thrown out of a helicopter is still in critical condition while Osman Şiban (50) who forcibly taken to the military hospital yesterday arrived in Mersin.   In the statement made by the Governorship of Van 11 days after the incident, it was claimed that Turgut fell from a rock and injured.Cengiz Şiban, brother of Osman Şiban who witnessed the incident, said Servet Turgut was detained by the soldiers while collecting hay in his field and his brother Osman Şiban was detained while he was drinking tea with him. Refuting the governorate statement, Şiban said both men were perfectly fine when they got on the helicopter.   'I WAS THERE'   Stating that there were no injuries in Servet Turgut's body when they detained him, said: "They pointed the gun at Servet Turgut's back. He wasn't injured in any way when they brought him. They took Osman too and took them to the helicopter. They were both perfectly fine when they go on. I was there.
